THE CONCEPT
The Football Five’s World Championships (F5WC) is a global initiative to select talented amateur football players through regional 5-a-side qualifying rounds around the world, to then compete in the Dubai 2015 finals. The tournament aims for mass participation amongst amateur football players, who play for fun whilst bringing together countries to celebrate the beautiful game.
In Ireland a number of organisations have combined to bring you this amazing 5-a-side tournament with qualifiers all over the country. This is the largest small sided tournament in Ireland with the incredible prize of representing your country on offer.
THE FORMAT
The Football Five’s World Championships (F5WC) is a tournament involving 48 nations comprising of the following continents:
- 16 from Europe
- 10 from South and North America
- 7 from Asia Pacific
- 6 from Middle East
- 9 from Africa

- The Irish finals will bring together the top 32 teams from the nationwide qualifiers, in a one day tournament on April 6th 2015 in Astropark Coolock, Dublin.
- All 32 Irish finalist teams will receive a set of jerseys
- The winning team will be crowned the Football 5s Irish Champions, with a top prize including flights, accommodation, full kit and all expenses paid for 7 players to Dubai Finals.
- Cost per team is €98 (€14 per player for squad of 7) Price includes qualifier, finals, vat and referee fees.
- Qualifying tournaments are round robin format through to knockouts. Minimum 3 games.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES
- Age limit (16 and above)
- Male (gender)
- Must be a resident of one of the qualifying nations
- Must hold a valid passport
GLOBAL PROFESSIONAL SCOUTS’
F5WC have secured multiple scouts to attend the finals as it will attract huge interest due to the tournament bringing 48 of the best amateur teams to one venue over a short period.
